An initial phone screening will help to identify whether counselling is recommended. Referrals to community resources and other health care practitioners are provided, when appropriate. If suitable, an initial assessment is scheduled. This allows for a comprehensive assessment of your needs. At the end of the assessment (consisting of 1-2 scheduled sessions), mutually agreed goals are discussed and a treatment plan developed.
